Hrudaya Veena Yanamandala is a Design Strategist within Strategy and Innovation department at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). She works in the intersection of Human Centered Design, Machine Learning, and Business Strategy. Her work currently involves designing new products and services that advance patient and caregiver experiences at home. Prior to working at MSK, Hrudaya worked with advocacy groups like the Center for Urban Pedagogy and the United Nations Foundation. After completing her bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering in India, she pursued an MFA from the Design for Social Innovation Program at the School of Visual Arts, where she learned to apply a human centered design mindset and methodologies to solving wicked problems. When not at work, Hrudaya pursues hobbies in illustration and photography.
