Workshop: Introduction to Behavior Change Design for Health

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

Human behavior plays a central role in the prevention, management, and treatment of ill health. Being able to positively impact outcomes through the products, services, and programs we put out in the world requires a comprehensive yet practical understanding of how to influence behavior.
In this hands-on workshop, we’ll introduce participants to evidence-based frameworks from behavioral and social science to empower teams to design the change they seek.
Through a combination of short lectures and discussions, and collaborative design activities, participants will strengthen their understanding of behavioral drivers and the use of behavior change techniques in designing interventions for health behavior change across a variety of channels.

This 3-hour workshop will help you:
  • Identify and define the key behaviors linked to your outcome objectives
  • Determine the drivers and barriers that underpin priority behaviors
  • Select and implement behavior change techniques that target key influences on behavior
  • Apply behavioral science frameworks to guide research, design, and evaluation decisions
  • Systematically integrate behavioral science into your design process to understand, design, and deliver impactful behavior change interventions
